I recently stayed at Wiang Chang Klan Hotel for six nights and had a lovely experience overall. The hotel is a charming boutique place with a modern touch and is conveniently near the Old City and markets. The breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh local fruits, although the noise from the pool area can be a downside at times. The value for money is excellent, especially with their reasonably priced meals. However, the location feels a bit seedy at night, which may concern some travelers.

Rooms
7.0
We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a large stone bathtub. However, the walls were quite thin, leading to noise disturbances.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the family running the hotel. However, communication barriers with some staff members were a bit challenging.
Location
5.0
While the hotel is conveniently located near the city's attractions, it's about a 30-minute walk to the Old City, and the surrounding area can feel a bit seedy at night. A tuk-tuk ride is relatively inexpensive, but it's not the ideal stroll.
Dining

The breakfast offered a nice variety, and the traditional Thai dinners were both delicious and affordable. Dining by the pool was a pleasant experience to start our days.
Facilities

The pool area was lovely and impeccably maintained, providing a great space to relax, although it could get a bit loud with large groups.

I had a fantastic time at this family-run boutique hotel. The warm hospitality made me feel at home and the cozy rooms were delightful. The only downside was that the location wasn't the best for late-night walks, but the peace and quiet was worth it. The breakfast by the pool was a beautiful start to each day, adding to the overall value for money.

This quaint boutique hotel made me feel at home right from the start. The family running it was incredibly helpful, assisting us with our itinerary during peak season. The cozy rooms were adorned with charming decorative touches, making for a lovely stay. However, the location wasn't ideal as it required a bit of travel to the old city, and the noise from the pool area and thin walls made it challenging to sleep at times. Overall, it's a decent value for money accommodation, just with a few drawbacks.
